What to consider

Track width and weight: our motors drive curtain runs up to roughly 12 metres, so confirm your total track length before ordering.Power and protocol: motors take standard AC mains (100-250V). Choose Wi-Fi for simple setups, or Zigbee with a Tuya gateway for larger, more reliable multi-room installations.New track vs. existing track: the complete curtain kit includes its own track for a fresh install, while a standalone motor can drive a compatible system.Daily living: look for soft start and soft stop, manual pull during power cuts, and obstacle detection that stops if the curtain meets resistance.

Can I control my curtains by voice? Yes. Once linked to the Smart Life or Tuya Smart app, the curtains respond to Amazon Alexa and Google Home, plus app scenes, timers and the included remote.
Do I need a hub or gateway? Wi-Fi models connect directly to your 2.4GHz network with no hub. Zigbee models need a Tuya-compatible gateway, which we recommend and configure for multi-device homes.
What happens during a power outage? You can still draw the curtains by hand. The motor uses soft start and stop and automatically halts if it meets resistance, protecting both the curtain and the track.
